Illusion

I see the tempting shackles of our society: order and control that radiate calm and lethargy. Let us work. This order as well as our illusion of having control over it are laughable.

ILLUSIONARY IDENTIFICATION

In the narrower sense of the word, an illusion is a false perception of reality – an illusion. If what is actually present is experienced as something different (or thought to be different) than it actually is, then we speak of ‘illusionary misunderstanding’. A delusion is not a perception but a misjudgment of reality, so to speak a wrong opinion about it, which – similar to a firm conviction or fixed idea – is represented with a certainty independent of the concrete experience. The more often perceptual judgments are confirmed, the more they are internalized as true and then become habits of thought and behavior.
